In 2015, a new show, titled L'Esprit sorcier and hosted by Frédéric Courant, began airing online, presenting itself as a successor to C'est pas sorcier.

The presenters[edit]

In the show, 'Sabine' (Sabine Quindou) and 'Fred' (Frédéric Courant) work together in the field. They travel around the world, interviewing specialists, and asking questions to 'Jamy' (Jamy Gourmaud) who, in his laboratory situated at the back of a truck, driven by 'Marcel',[1] would answer them using his iconic models and mock-ups. After 2011, he travels to symbolic locations relevant to the topic with a mobile laboratory equipped with touch screens, computer graphics and the models which originally garnered the show much success.

C'est pas sorcier ('It's not Sorcery') is a skit that aired as part of Donkey Kong Planet. Its name is a French expression referring to something which is not complicated, similar to the expression 'It's not rocket science'.

Summary[edit]

The skit starts with Donkey Kong in a wizard outfit standing on a rock during nighttime. Donkey Kong casts four spells which spawn fire. Donkey Kong then looks up and shoots lightning between his hands, which causes the DKTV logo to appear inside a ball of lightning. The lightning disappears and Donkey Kong says 'Et voilà'. The logo for C'est pas sorcier appears, and the narrator says 'DKTV: C'est vraiment pas sorcier' (DKTV: It's really not rocket science).
