CA Engineering was founded in 1992 by Mr. Casiano Ancalle as a one-person office in his home in Puerto Rico. Originally a water/wastewater design firm, the company expanded its services to stormwater management and water resources engineering. To this date, we have elaborated over 750 small and medium size projects in water and wastewater design, stormwater management, and water resources engineering. Geographically, our experience includes projects in Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, the U.S. east coast, and South America.

CASIANO ANCALLE, PE, PH

As founder and chief engineer of the company, Mr. Ancalle oversees all of the firm’s projects. He has extensive experience in water engineering, having managed hundreds of projects and studies in the U.S. and South America. Prior to founding CA Engineering, he had 17 years of experience in the public and private sectors in the United States and Bolivia. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia, Maryland, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and a Professional Hydrologist with the American Institute of Hydrology.

JESUS ACEVEDO

Mr. Acevedo is a U.S. Army veteran with experience in site/civil engineering and specialized experience in water engineering. As a senior engineer, he manages flood control studies and site design, and oversees the preparation of plans and construction sheets. He has been with the company since 1998.

Mrs. Dávila has experience in site/civil engineering and specialized experience in water engineering. She is the company’s expert hydrologic-hydraulic modeler, and is highly skilled with a range of public and commercial models. She has been with the company since 2005.

DAVID ANCALLE, PE

Mr. Ancalle brings to the company a background in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling with experience in over 5 states. He has experience with 1D, 2D, and 3D hydrodynamic modeling, hydrology, and runoff mitigation. Throughout his career, he has designed over 30 storm sewer systems in Georgia. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Georgia, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
