SUN Entertainment is Northern Arizona University’s student operated entertainment promotion and production company, offering events and activities for students on campus. With programs ranging from movies and concerts to speakers and casino nights, there is. By applying to the NAU Foundation scholarship application, you will also apply to HRM scholarships within this same application. This fund is established through the proceeds generated by the annual Casino Night, an event that raises funds as well as awareness for HRM. The event also provides a training opportunity for students.

The School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration is committed to education in the classroom and through hands-on experiences. We offer many opportunities for students to engage with industry professionals and to gain practical experiences:

• We offer over 100 professional Pathway programs each year where students are exposed to career planning and life skills. Events include interviewing workshops, career exploration discussions, and current events in industry.
• Our Executive Speaker Series brings top-level executives to share their stories with students. Past speakers have included Tyronne Stoudemire, Hyatt Corporation’s Vice President of Global Diversity and Inclusion and Hans Schatz, President and CEO of CULT Coffee Roaster.
• Students can apply to travel to one of several Corporate Executive Experiences and Industry Shows.
• Our student organizations hold regular meetings and plan activities throughout the year.
